Insert Missing Intervals
Options have been added to Insert Missing Intervals in Drillhole | Data to allow selection and configuration of a Flag field and a Split length value.
The Split inserted lengths to option is used to enter the split length of inserted intervals where splitting is necessary while retaining the original intervals.
If the field is left blank, no splitting will occur.
The Inserted and Existing intervals, and Clear and Overwrite flag field options have been added for the Flag field. Use the Flag Field to select the field containing the interval flag.

Repair Database
The Drillhole Database Repair tool has been added to Drillhole | Validation and Drillhole | Validate | Repair to provide access to multiple drillhole repair functions for a database.
The available repair processes, as shown above are:
Details for each repair process enabled can be configured using the Repair Options grid - for example, Overlapping Intervals:
Repair All Drillhole Validation Errors
Drillhole Database Validation now supports the automatic repair of various common drillhole validation errors with the addition of the Repair All menu options.
The supported errors for repair currently include:
-
Overlapping Intervals
-
Out of Order Intervals
-
Missing Interval
-
Missing Interval at Depth 0
-
Intervals Don't Reach End of Hole
-
Missing Survey at Depth = 0
Missing Interval Validation
Drillhole Database Validation now supports missing interval middle of hole repair, with the errors available in the Viewer.
The missing interval end of hole repair options have also been added to the Repair and Repair All menus.
Overlapping Interval Validation
Drillhole Database Validation now supports overlapping interval repair, with the errors available in the Viewer.
The overlapping interval repair options have also been added to the Repair and Repair All menus.
An improvement made to the repair process when using the “Average interval from and previous interval to” repair on two adjacent records, means the repair safely merges if there are two repair changes at the same record.
Out Of Order Interval Validation
Drillhole Database Validation now supports the detection out of order intervals, with the errors available in the Viewer.
Missing Survey at Depth = 0 Validation
Drillhole Database Validation now supports repair of "Missing survey at depth = 0" errors, with the repair option available in the Repair All menu.
The Missing survey at depth zero repair option will add survey to the top of the hole with Azimuth and Inclination values from the first survey.
Interval Subdivision Validation
Drillhole Database Validation now supports the detection and removal of a downhole interval that is subsequently broken down into smaller intervals.
DHDB Validation Error Severity
The Minor and Major severity levels have been added to Drillhole Database Validation to allow the improved categorisation of errors.
Errors in the validation list can now be grouped by Minor and Major severities.
Additionally, the Collapse All Groups and Expand All Groups options have been added to the context menu.
Open In File Editor
The Open In File Editor button has been added to the drillhole error viewer for Drillhole | Validation | Validate Drillhole Database.
You can open the active file in a standalone error view using the Open in File Editor button at the top right of the toolbar:
Alternatively, you can right-click inside the Errors list and select Open in File Editor from the context menu.
This will open the file in a Vizex tab in File Editor view. If you hold Ctrl and click the option, the file will open in a dialog.
DHDB Validation Row Colours
With the addition of Major and Minor severity levels to Drillhole Database Validation, the Drillhole Database Viewer Options have been updated to allow the configuration of row colour for the new levels.
By default, a deeper red is used for critical errors, a lighter red is used for other errors, and a light yellow is used for warnings.

Drape Tool
The Drape tool has been added on the Drillhole | Planning tab, in the DTM group:
Extend or Clip Drillholes
The Extend or Clip tool has been added on the Drillhole | Planning tab, in the DTM group:
The new tool allows you to extend the displayed drillholes up so that the collar starts on the DTM and clip drillholes to reposition the collar to the position at which the drillhole intersects with the DTM.
Automatic Drillhole Increment
Improvements have been made to Drillhole Planning to assist in the prevention of duplicate drillhole names.
When copying a drillhole using the CTRL + drag shortcut, the newly created string will now automatically increment the hole name to the next available number for the new hole being created:
Additionally, various drillhole planning tools have been updated to ensure they collect the last hole name used and automatically increment it, before creating drillholes.
Hide Drillhole Trace Labels
The Hide labels in overview window option has been added to the Performance tab of the Drillhole | Trace form.
Select this option to hide all drillhole trace labels and interval ticks from display in the overview window.

True Dip and Dip Direction Gamma
Gamma measurements can now be defined in the True Dip and Dip Direction calculator so that the orientation of lineations on a plane on oriented drill core can be calculated from Alpha, Beta and Gamma readings.
When a Gamma field is specified, the Pitch field, Lineation azimuth field and Lineation plunge field can optionally be entered to calculate the trend and plunge of the lineation.

Geology Compositing Improvements
Improvements have been made to Drillhole Geology Compositing on the Drillhole tab, in the Composite group with the addition of the Other Methods option and the Density field.
You can specify the Density field in instances where you want to calculate Numeric fields using Weighted Average of Length x Density.
The Other methods option allows you to set a compositing method for individual fields requiring individual treatment.
Auto Load Drillhole Compositing
The Auto load in Vizex option has been added to the Drillhole compositing tools to auto load the output files in Vizex.
With Auto load... enabled, the Grade, Downhole, Bench, Interval and Geology composite tools will load a hatch layer with context-specific settings for the Colour and Colour palette values.
The option has also been added to the Pierce Points tool in the Calculations group.

Display Calculated Averages
The Properties tab has been added to the Drillhole Trace and Solid Trace forms to enable the display of one or more calculated averages for the drillhole trace - All fields, No Fields or Custom.
The Custom option enables the Properties grid from which you can configure the fields to display calculated averages for.
